YROPOSED DECLJh'tATIOtt OF 2:0:1-SICt1IFICA!!CL' <br />Description of Proposal: <br />The proposed action is the issuance of grading and building permits to allow the construction of a <br />19 unit apartment building. The following factors were considered prior to making a preliminary <br />decision on this proposal: <br />1. The site is zoned B-2, Community Shopping Zone, which would allow the.proposed use. <br />2. The site is currently vacant. The eastern portion of the site contains a few fir trees, and <br />the foundation of a previously existing residence remains on the western portion of the site. <br />3. Access is via Highway Place. <br />4. Parking must be provided in compliance with Zoning Code requirements. The proposed ng <br />configuration creates access prohlems and inadequate space is provided for parking stalls <br />on the east of the site. <br />5.
