( <br />� <br />pLANNING DIRECTOR DETIItMIIVATiON <br />REVIEW PROCESS II A99-OlE <br />SE07/Sall Hi�hway Pfaa <br />Apri123, 1999 <br />Dear ltesident: <br />The City of Everett Planning Departma►t has raxived an applicatia► for Modification <br />of Muldple Family Development Standards for a proposed multi-family housing project <br />which is located on Highway Place at 5807/5811. <br />Sxdon 15.1O1D of the Evaett Municipal Code (EMC7 states that "An applicant may <br />propose and the Planning Dirator (using Review Pmcess In may allow an appliant to <br />deviaoed from cectain development standards and/or Mul6ple Family Design Guidelina <br />subject to wmpliana with the evaluation criteria pursuant to subsection 15.101D.3 of <br />the EMC." <br />The Code requires that the Planing Director study the proposal relative to the evaluation <br />criteria and its potentisl impactt. The Dirxtor must then malx a writtai data�mination <br />that will "... appmve, disapprove, or approve with oondidon: tAe modification <br />proposed by the applicant". If no appeal is filed in response to the Plannine Director's <br />determination, the action will be considued final and the permit(s) issued, or if the <br />dccision is appealed, a public heazing before the Ciry Hearing F.xamina will be <br />requircd. . <br />The letter is to inform you that the Planning Dircctor has issued a decision on the <br />ptoposed modificadons.
