Of the 20 units for the project, 18 have twasleeping rooms, and 2 have one- <br />sleeping room. To meet the proportional distribudon requirements of Secdon <br />1103.1.8.4, the Type A unit should be a two-sleeping room arrangement. <br />2. All units on the ground floor that are not Type A units should comply as Type B <br />units. Section 1103.1.8.2 <br />3. A minimum of 12" clear should be provided between the entry door and the <br />exterio* wall for a`push side' forward approach at thc Type A and B units as the <br />doors have both closers and latches. Sections 1106.103, Item 2 8c 1106.27.1, <br />Item 4 <br />4. A minimum of 18" clear should be provided between the entry doors and wall for <br />a`pull side' forward approach for Units F& C(basement level). Sections <br />1106.10.3, Item 1 8c 1106.27.1, Item 4 <br />5. A 30" x 48" clear floor space should be provided at one cub in each Type B unit. <br />The 48" dimension should be alongside the tub. Iavatories may encroach on the <br />clear floor space if they are fully accessible, however toilets may not. See Units <br />A, A.1, F and D.1. Sections 1106.27.1, Item 12, 1106.11.9.1 <br />6. For one bathroom in each Type B unit, the edge of the lavatory should be located <br />not less than 15 inches from the centerline of the watercloset providing the knee <br />and tce clearances of Section 1106.11.7 are met. Otherwise the lavatory should <br />not be locate within the clear floor space required for the toilet. Section <br />1106.11.5.1, Exception 1 <br />7. The tub seat for the Type A bathroom sh�uld be shown on the plans. Section <br />1106.11.9.2 <br />8. Permanent barriers should be shown around the bottom of the open stairways to <br />prevent entry by persons with visual impairments into the areas of reduced <br />headroom. Section 1106.4.2 <br />
