The <br />Immediately west of the site is a parcel of similar size and shape (21,000 s.f.), and to the <br />north of these two lots are 15,000 s.f. lots that front on Hillside Lane. The topography <br />slopes down fram south to north, with each successive lot to the south gaining elevation <br />above its northem neighbor, with occessionel water vfews of the distant Puget Sound. <br />The proposed home fits wkhin the basic development standards for the R-S zone district <br />which are designed to ensure compatibility with the neighborhood. The building height will <br />not exceed the maximum height of 28'; the 24% lot coverage is well beiow the zoning <br />maximum of 35°h and all setbacks are met or exceeded. If the permittee requests an extension <br />in writing not later than eighteen (18) months from the land use permit date, the Director may <br />grant a six (6) monlh extension. <br />The applicant or any aggrieved property owner may appeal the Planning Director's decision <br />wilhin 14 calendar days of the date of this decision.
