An inspection was conducted and a few pictures �!`= � <br /> :,:�����"ti F <br /> were taken. It was determined through the inspection that the �: w,. . ,J�; <br /> structure was substandard and uninhabitable. Pursuant to the �Rw� <br /> inspection the structure was posted "Illegal to OccuPY" • � ` <br /> �, <br /> On November 17, 1981 a letter was sent to the owner, Hr. Tom McKee, :w. ,;; . ,� <br /> describing all the violations noted with the structure and requesting .,: ;;r� `"'''' ,� <br /> him to advise our office within 10 days of his plans reaarding <br /> corrective action in the matter. The letter, which was sent cer- <br /> tified mail , return receipt requested, was returned to our office <br /> "unclaimed" . � <br /> '�1 On Decem�er 29, 1981 a "auilding Official 's Notice and Order" was <br /> sent to all property owners. This is the procedure taken if the <br /> ' ' 10 day letter has not been ac4:nowledged. <br /> � On January 25, 7982 Mr. McKee met in our office with Ken Callahan <br /> � � and myself regarding the Notice and Order he had received. As a <br /> ' ' result of thaS meeting Ken indicated that abatement proceedings <br /> � would be held up provided the structure would be kept secured. <br /> ' Mr. McKee requested a letter stating that abatement would not <br /> continue on the structure. <br /> ' ,_. _. .,,,;: - — <br /> On February 2, 1962 an inspection revealed that the structure was 'e , •':�'_':.i. <br /> � still open. I continued to monitor the area over the next few f •� � �, f <br /> �� days and saw some young males at the structure. They indicated <br /> �� that they were not living there but were working on the place.
