The railing posis should be installed on the inside of the 2"x12" pressure treated board supporting the <br /> treads. This will allow the 1"x12"cedar skirt to be installed directly on the outside of the 2"x12" board. <br /> 2. The posts should be 6"x6" posts instead of 4"x4" posts,which will allow#3 below. <br /> 3.
