The reinforced concrete and wood framed lateral force resisting system is subject to quality <br /> assurance per IBC Sec. 1705. <br /> 2. Special inspections and testing will be required for; <br /> a. Reinforcing steel <br /> b. Concrete <br /> c. Lateral force resisting systems <br /> d. Stnictural steel <br /> 3. Testing shall include; <br /> a. Soil bearing capacity (prior to pour) <br /> � b. Concrete when specified strength exceeds 2500 psi except slab (ACI) <br /> 4. Special Inspection shall include; <br /> a. Reinforcing steel and placement (ACI) <br /> b. Structural steel welds (AWS) and connections <br /> 5. Special Inspection reports shall be provided to the Owner after each inspection and to t�.�e City <br /> Inspector upon request. Reports including any observed deficiencies shall be immediately <br /> provided to the Engineer of Record (EOR). <br /> 6. Structural observation by the EOR shall consist of those required by the City or requested by the <br /> Contractor to address construction issues. <br /> 7. Structural observation reports shall be provided to the Owner after each inspection and to the <br /> City Inspector upon request.
