Inspe�tion Report <br /> 2217 Grand Ave <br /> January 19, 1994 <br /> Page 2 <br /> 1. The interior of the building is scattered with trash, debris, human feces, drugs <br /> and dcug paraphemalia. <br /> 12. The building is hazardous and unsanitary. <br /> 13. The building is an attractive nuisance to minor children playing in the <br /> neighborhood. <br /> 14. The building is a nuisance to the heaith, safety and welfare of the public. <br /> The following deficiencies were noted pursuant to the Uniform Code for the Abatement <br /> of Dangerous Buildings: <br /> 1. Portions of the soffit area have become dislodged and may fall thereby causing <br /> injury to persons. <br /> 2. The building has enabled persons to resort thereio for the purpose of committing <br /> unlawful acts. <br /> 3. The building is being maintained in violation of the regulations of this <br /> jurisdiction as specified in the Housing Code as adopted by the Cit}� of Everett. <br /> 4. The building constitutes a public nuisance known to the common law or in <br /> equity jurisprudence. <br /> An inspection of the garage revealed the following deficiencies noted pursuant to the <br /> Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings: <br /> 1. The floor of the garage is rotted away to such an extent that the vehicle stored <br /> in the garage has fallen through the floor. There are large holes in the walking <br /> surface ofthe garage. <br /> 2. Portions of the floor may collapse and thereby injure persons. <br /> 3. Due to deterioration and rot, the structunl strength and stability thereof is less <br /> than the minimum requirements of the Building Code for new buildings of <br /> similaz structure. <br /> 4. The building is manifestly unsafe for the purpose for which it is being used. <br />
