PUBE/C /��OlrXS � y , Jul 1994 Ce��,i }� i e p) m q i � 1��IS 9 38�C�33 0 Mr. & Mrs. James Thompson PO Boz 5616 Everett, WA 98206 RE: 2232 Grand Ave., Everett, WA Dear Mr. & Mrs. Thompson: On October 27th, 1993, the City of Everett Building Official issued a Notice and Urder on the property at 2232 Gtand Ave. to repair or demolish the building which in violation of Ciry of Everett Uniform Ho�sing Code and the Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings. On November Sth, 1993, Mr. Thompson call this office in response to the issuance of the Notice and Order. During the conve�sation, Mr. Thompson stated that he intended to renovate this building beginning in the Spring or Summer of 1994. The city agreed to postpone proceeding with abatement of the building to give Mr. Thompson the opportunity to begin work as stated provided that the building was kept secured. Since then, the butlding was monitored and on June 30th and July 19th, the building has been open to the public. Because the building, in its present condition, is a hazardous nuisance to the health, safety, and welfare of the publ�c, and no renovation �roe�es; ;: �nDarent, the Ciry of Everett must proceed with abatement of the building. On August 15, 1994 the Ciry of Everett Buiiding Offici°, ^::!� i•:,ue a Supplemental Nodce and Order to demolish or repair the building and proceed with abatement of the situation.
