Ingram was absent. <br /> The reading of the minutes of the previous meeting were dispensed <br /> with. <br /> A hearing caas held on the application of D4r. Richard Almi9, 3712 <br /> Rivercrest, Everett, �9ashington for a variance from Section 15. 04 .100 <br /> E.C.C. (Zoning Code) paragraph C, minimun lot size and width, for <br /> permission to add an additional apartment unit in the basement for <br /> a caretaker, plus an area for storage and a shop. Also, authoriza- . <br /> tion to provide a maximum of five (5) off-street parking stalls <br /> rather than the minimum of eight (8) off-street parking stalls as <br /> required by Section 15. 0°�. 190 (Zoning Code) off street parking and <br /> loading requirements. Lc�ts 13 & 14 , Block 487, Plat of Everett. <br /> 2325 Grand. Zoning: R-`i Multiple Family Low Density Residence. <br /> Mr. Almvig made the following statements: <br /> 1. The entrance to the apartment house is from the rear of,.the <br /> building cahich makes it difficult to prevent break ins. Also, <br /> a great deal of st�rubs and landscaping have been destroyed <br /> through vandalism. <br /> I <br /> � 2 . By adding one more unit for a caretaker it would offer the <br /> I protection that is needed for the apartment. <br /> � arkin stalls are required by code <br /> i 3. After visually <br /> i viewing the subject property and considering all tl�e facts , it was <br /> f �oved by Mr. Berg, seconded by D1r. Baird , and unanimously carried <br /> � to deny the apNlicants request for the following reasons: <br /> 1. There wes no evicience of hardship presented by the applicant. <br /> 2. At the time of c��nstruction hir. Almvig was aware that the <br /> maximum apartment units allowed by square footage was four <br /> (9) and yet six (6) �oere built. <br /> �- _ - - --- <br /> The hearing for Mr. David Brandvold, caho asked permission to divide <br /> ' a tract of land into four (4) parcels , located at approximately <br /> 4900 Vista Place, was postponed for an indefinite period. <br /> A hearing was held on the application of the Southland Corporation, <br /> doi.ng business as 7-11 1'ood Stores , 10�175 IIcardslce Blvd. , IIothel , <br /> 1�'ashi.i�gton, for a variance from Section 15. 04 . 120 E.C.C.
