An inspection of the two <br />structures was conducted and the following violations were <br />noted: <br />1. The electrical system has been worked on without <br />permits and, according to P.U.D., there are <br />problems with cross wiring between the units in <br />both structures. An inspection of the electrical <br />system by the City Electrical Inspector revealed <br />the interior wirinq at these structures is in an <br />unsafe condition. Due to the fact that the structures <br />were wired as single family residences and then <br />changed to multi-family dwellings by adding circuits <br />therei�y mixit�g up the circuits to the various apart- <br />ments, one tenant is paying for oart of another <br />tenant's electric:al bill. <br />2 <br />3. <br />Condensation in the units. <br />Holes in walls caused by rats. <br />4. In Unit #1 at 2532 Grand, the back of the cooking <br />range is installed i:� such a manner that the wiring <br />for the range is exposed. The wiring is deteriorated <br />and shorting out. An individual was shocked by the <br />range during the inspection. <br />5. There are electrical receptacles without backplates <br />thereby exposing electrical wires. This is dangerous <br />to the childre:: living in the units. <br />
