526FIRSTAVENUESOUTH•SEATTLE,W+SHINGTON9810 •MAIN4•4684
I V
;I June 13, 1975
/
Roy Burklund Realty
3713 - Rucker Avenuc
Evcrett, WA 98201
Reference: Property Located at 2527 Grand :venue
Evcrett, Washington
Ostensible Owner: Rev. Paul E. Peterson
Gentlemen:
I am the owner of 2531 Grand Avenue, south of and contiguous
to the above referred property which I understand you manage
for Rev. Peterson.
I wish to call your attention to what appears to be a v.io-
lation of the City of verett Building Code and Ordinance
96-70, paragraph 6, which ordinance was adopted in November
of 1970, and which specifically relates to parking areas,
drainage and disposal of surface water.
Surface water is and has been overflowing from your parking
area and running down onto our property causing erosion and
undermining of your parking area concrete bulkhead and
foundation. This erosion and water is piling up and seeiing
into the Northeast corner of our building to such an extent
that the floors and joints in an area, not yet totally deter-
mined but sufficient to, have caused the floor and joints to
have completely rotted through leaving a hole in the floor of
the storage locker area.
The amount of the direct damages thus caused has not been
determined, but will no doubt exceed $500.
This matter has been broughL- to the attention of the City of
verett building department which is Ueing =nvestigated by
them.
