During my <br />observation site visit of tiie interior of the unit on ]une 19th, it was observed that the several areas of <br />work were constructed without permits. <br />In response to the application submitted, the plans have been examined and you are advised that this <br />is an incomplete submittal for Guilding pe�mit. Please submit two sets of drawings with a response <br />lerier indicating how corrections are resolved on the plan set. <br />General <br />1. To identify what is being proposed as new work on this permit, please revise the drewings as <br />follows: <br />a. New work that was done without permits should be indicated with dark lines and <br />identified on the drawings. Ex.isting work should be indicated as light lines, in <br />comparison, and demolition work should be indicated with dashed lines. <br />b. The drawings should be clear enough and complete enough that the scope of the new <br />work couid be understood and built by someone other than the submitter. <br />Occupancy <br />1. A code analysis should be included with the submittal that indicates the following: <br />a. The area of the building and the area of the unit subrciitted for tenant improvement. <br />b. Applicable building codes, as referenced at the bottom of this lelter. <br />c. Occupancy of tlie building, and the apartment, based on Floor area and occupancy type, <br />per IBC table 1004.1.1. <br />d. Whether the building has sprinklers or automatic detection systems. <br />e. Construction type of the building, per IBC table 503. <br />Egress <br />1. At the time the building was constructed in 19G7, per Snohomish County Assessor records, the <br />1967 Uniform Building Code did notrequire two exits from each apartment unit on the second <br />tloor for the number of residents, based on the required exit number and the occupant load, <br />per UBC table 33-A, attached. <br />
