An inspection of the two <br />structures was conduated and the following violations were <br />noted: <br />1. The electrical systerm has been worked on wi�hout <br />permits and, according to P.U.D., there are <br />problems with cross wiring between the units in <br />both structures. An inspection of the electrical <br />system by the City Electrical Inspector revealed <br />the interior wiring at these structures is in an <br />unsafe condition. Due to the fact that the ctructures <br />were wired as single family residences and then <br />changed to multi-family dwellings by adding circuits <br />thereby mixing up the circuits to the various apart- <br />ments, one tenant is paying for oart of another <br />tenant's electrical bill. <br />2. Condensation in the units. <br />3. Holes in walls caused by rats. <br />4. In Unit #1 at 2532 Grand, the back of the cooking <br />range is installed in such a manner that the wiring <br />for the range is exposed. The wiring is deteriorated <br />and shorting out. An individual was shocked by the <br />range during the inspection. <br />5. There are electrical receptacles without backplates <br />thereby exposing electrical wires. This is dangerous <br />to the children living in the units. <br />
