All exterior and interior basement steps deteriorated and risers <br />are uneven. They shall be repaired in accordance with present <br />day codes. <br />17. Smoke detectors shall function. <br />18. The kitchen appliances and eating surfaces plus food preparation <br />surfaces shall be made sanitary. <br />19. The basement shall not be occupied as a living quarters unless <br />upgraded to Uniform Building Code requirements for such occupancy. <br />20.
