WASHINGTON 98201 FIRE DEPARTMENT The undersigned conducted an inspection of the premises at 2804 Grand Avenue, Everett —The Everett Public Market, this date. This inspection was conducted at the request of a Fire Department officer who responded to ar. alarm at 2804 Grand on 2/16/84. He was concerned with the conditions at that time. The following conditions were observed: 1. The furnace room, contrary to earlier written order, and verbal agreement, has not been separated by fire -resistive construction. Both wall and ceilin;; are wide open. 2. The furnace room was not clear of all combustibles. Housekeeping in this area was deplorable. 3. Contrary to prior orders, mill run, trashy type fuel, was piled indiscriminately in the basement area. 4. The electrical wiring in the furnace room remains seriously in violation of the Electrical Code, despite your assurances on several occasions that it would be repaired immediately. 5. Contrary to prior orders and verbal agreements that it would be taken care of, the trash and collection of unnecessary combustibles in the northwest corner of the second floor still remains. 6. Contrary to prior orders and verbal agreements to comply, the exit corridor through the basement remains unfinished and unprotected. THIS IS A DEFINITE LIFE HAZARD. 7. The exit door from the northwest stairway was locked. Exit sign over exit door In the southwest corner, main floor, is missing.
