The first floor residents moved out
but left their furniture and belongings.
This duplex residence is in Fire Zone #1 and a Type 5 construction.
The Code states that in Fire Zone #1 if the damage goes over
50% of the value it must be demolished and a Type 5 Construction
cannot be rebuilt in Fire Zone #1.
Until the amount of damage can be determined, a repair permit of
any kind cannot be issued. The owner, George Unsworth, is very
un-co-operative in following minimum code standards and in doing
1.ork in a workmanlike manner.
LTE:rm
Respectfully submitted
Lawrence T Erickson
Building Inspector
I Y E N 9 N E E N C I I Y
