� <br />� <br />S. Specify minimum header size at existing openings carrying additional load from n�w <br />deck. <br />6. The "partial lower Floor plan" on Sheet 5 shows the deck joists going over the top of the <br />6x12 beam, but cails it out as "Flush," the "deck/reiling detail" shows the joists hangered <br />off of the beam. Please clarify. <br />7. The "deck/reiling detail" shows 4x4 pos[s notched and bolted to the deck beam. The <br />post shall not be notched. Provide detai! of post connedion if joists rest on top of the <br />deck beam capable of resisting the required loads per Table R301.5 IRC. Show both <br />parellel and perpendicular conditions. <br />8. Provide detail of ledger connection to the existing structure. In the area wtiere the <br />cantilevered joists are rernoved, the ledger shall not be solely attached to :he existing <br />blocking behveen the cantilevered joists. <br />9.
