Private staixways serving an occupan[ load of less than 10 may be <br />constructed with an 8 inch maximum rise, and 9 inch minimum run. The <br />largest tread run within any flight of stairs shall not exceed the <br />smallest by more than 3/8 inch. The greatest rise height within any <br />flight of stairs shall not exceed the smallest by more than 3/8 <br />inch. 3306(c) 6 3306(c) Exc. 1. <br />4. In every kitchen, family room, dining room, living room, parlor, <br />library, den, sun room, bedroom, recreation room, or similar rooms of <br />dwelling units, receptacle outlets shall be pruvided such that no <br />point along the floor line in any wall space is more than 6 feet, <br />measured horizontally, from an outlet in that space including any <br />wall space 2 feet or more in width and the wall space occupied by <br />sliding panels in exterior walls. The wall space afforded by fixed <br />room dividers, such as free-standing bar-type counters, shall be <br />included in the 6 foot measurement. 210-52 NEC. <br />5.
