SALE OF PARSONAGE BUILDING <br />FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH <br />3530 Colby Avenue <br />Everett, Washington 98201 <br />THIS CONTRACT is made on the // day of August, <br />1977, by FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, SO Colby Avenue, <br />Everett, Washington, hereinafter referred to as "Seller" <br />and JED N. PURVIS and JUDY A. PURVIS , his wife, <br />2120 Cedar, Everett, Washington, hereinafter referred to <br />as "Purchaser". <br />RECITALS <br />1. Seller is the owner of the parsonage building <br />situated adjacent to the FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, <br />Everett, Washington, a residence building. <br />2. Purchaser recently presented a bid for the <br />purchase of the parsonage building in the sum of Five <br />Thousand Five Hundred Fifty -Nine and 50/100 Dollars <br />($5,559.50). The Seller accepted the bid on July 22, 1977. <br />In furtherance of the objectives of the parties and in <br />consideration of their mutual covenants and promises, the <br />parties agree that seller shall sell to purchaser and purchaser <br />shall purchase from seller property 'or the price and on the <br />terms, covenants, and conditions hereinafter set forth. <br />SECTION ONE <br />PURCHASE PRICE AND TERMS OF PAYMENT <br />1. The total purchase price for the building shall <br />be Five Thousand Five Hundred Fifty -Nine and 50/100.Dollars <br />($5,559.50). <br />2. The purchase price shall be paid as follows: <br />Purchaser hereby pays the sum of Five <br />Hundred Dollars ($500.00), which Seller <br />acknowledges receipt of as earnest money, <br />which shall constitute a down payment <br />on the purchase of the building. The <br />balance of the purchase price shall be <br />paid in full prior to the removal of the <br />building from its foundation where <br />situated, or the completion of a promissory <br />note payable to Seller, secured by a mortgage <br />against purchaser's present home situated at <br />2120 Cedar, Everett, Washington, payable at <br />the time of the sale of the purchaser's home <br />or at the end of ninety days whichever occurs <br />first. <br />SECTION TWO <br />POSSESSION OF BUILDING <br />Purchaser has fully inspected the parsonage building <br />and accepts the building as is and agrees to take possession <br />, <br />
