SALE OF PARSONAGE BUILDING FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH 3530 Colby Avenue Everett, Washington 98201 THIS CONTRACT is made on the // day of August, 1977, by FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, SO Colby Avenue, Everett, Washington, hereinafter referred to as "Seller" and JED N. PURVIS and JUDY A. PURVIS , his wife, 2120 Cedar, Everett, Washington, hereinafter referred to as "Purchaser". RECITALS 1. Seller is the owner of the parsonage building situated adjacent to the FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, Everett, Washington, a residence building. 2. Purchaser recently presented a bid for the purchase of the parsonage building in the sum of Five Thousand Five Hundred Fifty -Nine and 50/100 Dollars ($5,559.50). The Seller accepted the bid on July 22, 1977. In furtherance of the objectives of the parties and in consideration of their mutual covenants and promises, the parties agree that seller shall sell to purchaser and purchaser shall purchase from seller property 'or the price and on the terms, covenants, and conditions hereinafter set forth. SECTION ONE PURCHASE PRICE AND TERMS OF PAYMENT 1. The total purchase price for the building shall be Five Thousand Five Hundred Fifty -Nine and 50/100.Dollars ($5,559.50). 2. The purchase price shall be paid as follows: Purchaser hereby pays the sum of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00), which Seller acknowledges receipt of as earnest money, which shall constitute a down payment on the purchase of the building. The balance of the purchase price shall be paid in full prior to the removal of the building from its foundation where situated, or the completion of a promissory note payable to Seller, secured by a mortgage against purchaser's present home situated at 2120 Cedar, Everett, Washington, payable at the time of the sale of the purchaser's home or at the end of ninety days whichever occurs first. SECTION TWO POSSESSION OF BUILDING Purchaser has fully inspected the parsonage building and accepts the building as is and agrees to take possession ,
