The property is legally described as: <br />Terrace Add to Everett Blk O10 D-00 — Lots 13 & 14 TGW VAC E lOft of Grand <br />Ave ABTG Thon per City of Everett Ord No 2615 7-18-34 (Unrecorded) <br />Parcel number: 5962 O10 013 00 <br />An inspection of the buildings and exterior premises was conducted on May 12, 1999 and it was <br />noted that conditions exist in the buildings and on the premises that are in violation of the <br />Housing Code/Dangerous Building Abatement Code of the City of Everett. A copy of my <br />inspection report is enclosed for your reference. <br />Other conditions exist that are in violation of the Everett City code. The Everett City Code, <br />Section 8.20.020, provides that ceRain conditions aze not allowed on any property in the city if <br />the conditions are visible from a public street, alley or other public or private property, including: <br />(A) Junk, trash, litter, boxes, discarded lumber, salvage materials or other similar materials <br />located in the front yard, side yard, rear yard or vacant lot; <br />(E) Dead, decayed, diseased, noxious or hazardous trees or vegetation, vegetation that is <br />taller than forty-two inches high and not located in a flower bed, and/or grass taller than <br />twelve inches in height, located in the front yard, side yard, rear yard or vacant lot; <br />In addition, there is a vehicle that appears to be inoperable located on the property. According to <br />Section 8.22.030 of the Everett Municipal Code, all wrecked, dismantled, or inoperative vehicles <br />or automobile hulks, whether abandoned or not, placed or situated upon private property, <br />constitute a public nuisance. In order for such vehicles or hulks to be exempt from this <br />provision, they must be: (1) completely enclosed within a building in a la«•ful manner where it is <br />not visible from the street or other public or private property, or (2) the vehicle(s) or part of the <br />vehicle is stored or parked in a la�vful manner on private property in connection with the business <br />of a licensed dismantler or licensed vehicle dealer and fenced according to the provisions o�'state <br />la�v.
