Subgnde comp�ction <br />shW be ro 95% as detesmined by one of the following methods: <br />ASTM D1556 (sand cone mahad) <br />ASTM D2167 (rubber balloon method) <br />ASTM D2922 (nuclear method) <br />3-14.7(2) CEMENT CONCRETE PAVEMENT <br />ARa the Crushed Sutfacing Top Course subgrade for thepavement has ban constructed and compacted <br />W line and grade, the ament conctae pavement puch shall be �Iaced and'struck off to a thicla�ess of 1 <br />inch graeer d�an the w�isting pavement or 8 inch minimum, whichever is greater. All work shall be in <br />a000�danee with Section 5-0S of the WSDOT/APWA Standbrd Specifications, except as modified by <br />these Spxificadons and Standard Dnwing No. 316. <br />Through jointa and dummy joints shall be placed to match euisting or as dirocted by the engineer. The <br />surFace of the conerae patch shall be finished and brushed with a fiber brush. Appmved curing <br />compound shall be plaad on the finished concrete immediately after finishing. ' <br />3-15 ROCKERIES AND ROCKWALLS <br />3-15.1 DESCRIPTION <br />This work shall consist of constructing rockeries with rock facing height of 8 feet or less used for erosion <br />control or the containment of cuts and embankments. Work shall be performed in accordance with these <br />Spxificaticns and Standard Plan No. 324. Rockeries over 8 fat in height must be designed by a <br />structural enginar licxnse� in the State of Washington. <br />STANDARDS 3-13 <br />
