Ms. Brandvold, a developer, explained his future proposal for the area;
they included the following:
1. Eleven (11) new homes with two (2) bedrooms and full basements.
2. The new homes will -be serviced by sewer and water.
3. The homes will be sold on the open market.
There was no further co:,iment from the audience.
After visually viewing the subject property and considering all the facts and
'testimony, it was moved by Mr. Kristiansen, seconded by tir. Russell, and
unanimously carried to deny th.: applicant's request because there is no way
of knowing what the impact on the neighborhood will be as a result of the
proposed development on the adjacent property.
A hearing was held on the application of Robert Jungaro, 1501 Mukilteo Lane,
Mukilteo, WA, for a variance from section 19.08.010, Everett Municipal
Code, Land Use, Paragraph B, for permission to allow two (2) twenty (20)
foot frontage roads for lot access that will be approximately eighty (80)
feet apart on a public dedicated street rather than the code requirement of
forty (40) feet for each lot on a public dedicated street.
Legal Description: Lots 8 & 9, Replat of Lot X, Darlington
Address: Approx. 4700 Lynnewood Drive
Zoning: R-S single Family Suburban Residential
Mr. Jerry Straub represented Mr. Jungaro and mentioned that the lot is being
short platted. Also a hardship exists now because there is more land than
is needed for a lot and the lots need reducing in size because of maintenance
costs for large lots..
There was no opposition from the audience. 1
After visually viewing the subject property and considering all the facts, it
was moved by Mr. Russell, seconded by Mr. Berg, and unanimously carried to
deny the applicant's request on the basis that if the variance were granted,
it would intensify the hazard to the public created by the narrow access on
the north end of Lynnewood Drive.
A hearing was held on the application of R.S.T. Construction, P.O. Box 2157,
Everett, WA, for a variance from section 19.12.050, Everett Municipal Code.
Yard Requirements, Paragraph C, for permission to build to within five (5)
feet of the rear property line rather than the code requirement of twenty-five
(25) feet.
Legal Description: Lot 8, Plat of Granada Seaview Estates Div, kl
Address: Approx. 23rd Ave. West and Nava Place
Zoning: R-S Single Family Suburban Residential
Scottie Turner of R.S.T. Construction represented himself and brought to the
attention of the Board the following facts:
1.
