As you know, Mr. end Mrs. Showlund are very concerned over your encroachment onto their property, your failure to observe require setback standards, and damages which you have caused to the property by reason of trespasses with heavy equipment. I am certain that you can appreciate the substantial legal exposure resulting from your actions. Mr. and Mrs. Showlund have determined that the following stepe aust be accomplished by you, within the time periods indicated, in order to avoid the necessity of further legal action by them: 1. Within one (1) week of the date of this letter, restore the area around the cedar trees located on the Showlund's property to the West of your house where your bulldozer has uncovered roots of those trees, removed natural cegetation, and pushed trash from your property amid ehe trees to an approximate height of three (3) feet. (The Showlunds reserve the right to huld you responsible for any permanent damage to these trees or trees which were damaged in the area of the equipment house slab.) 2. Within one (1) week 'rom the date of this letter, remove your roof drain line from its termination point on the Showlund�s property and redirect the drain li.ne to disburse across the length of your property in accordance wizh pertinent building code requirements.
