Some of this Fill <br />appears to encroach into your yard slope area. <br />NYDROLOGIC CONDITZONS <br />�r The ground water table was not encountered in any of the test pits performed <br />around the site area. However, some evidence of seasonal seepage was <br />� observed along the weathered qlacial till/qlacial till interface. This is <br />considered a common condition during the normally wetter periods of the year, <br />where surface precipitation does not readily penetrate the dense glacial till, <br />� and generally flows laterally, and downslope, within the weathered zone above <br />the acnse till. No areas of standing water were observed within the site. <br />I�� <br />� � <br />'s � <br />� 1 '.i <br />SLOPE STASILITY <br />Explorations and observations within the moderate and steep slope portions of <br />the site indicate that the slopes appear relatively stable, with no apparent <br />signs of instability, sliding or significant erosion within close proximity to <br />the proposed residence area. <br />However, our observation and experience within the area downslope of the site, <br />which includes the Merrill & Ring Creek stream thread, indicates that recent <br />erosion and surface landsliding has occurred within areas downslope of the <br />site. These conditions appear to have been caused by increased water within <br />the stream area, local undercutting of the slope toe areas, surface sliding <br />within the lower reaches of the slope and some instability caused by local <br />filling upon the slope areas. We do not feel that this action will effect the <br />site slope stability at this time. However, the creek system is dynamic, and <br />should be watched over time. If significant undercutting continues, <br />improvements in the draina9e basin may be required. These improvements <br />typically include storm water detention systems and are usually undertaken by <br />the local municipal authority. AnY significant chanqes on the slopes or creek <br />channel should be reported to the City of Everett. <br />�. <br />S: <br />;S <br />U <br />
