Your
redlined comments were provided on the attached set of the plans (1 ] sheets, 9/3//98) and we
have responded to them as highlighted in green pen. The attached Grading and Utility Plans
(mylars, 11 sheets, 10/23/98) have been revised as follows:
Shect 2
Per Alan Locke's comment, both construction entrances have been revised to start at the
west end of the respective existing bridge decks. 1T►e northerly construction entrance has
been shown to tum to the south to miss TESC Pond 2. The cotresponding detail on sheet
3 has revised been accordingly;
Sheet 5
The rockery shown at the west end of Section B-B is necessary in order to provide access
around the west side of Building B. The rockery will be approximately 8' high and has
bcen shown to shuw its relationship with the existing slope. Additional detail for this
cross section and the cross sections on sheet 5 has been added to show the pavement
widths, flowline, minimum cross slopes, curbs, and relationship with adjacent
property/site constraints;
Shcet 6
Per Wayne Went's comment, curb ramps and crosswalk suiping have been shown and
called out at the southeast comer of Building B and at the nonheast comer of Building C.
The crosswalk at the northeast comer of Building C has been shown to coincide with the
handicap stalls along the east face of Building C approximately 75' south of the northeast
corner. The handicap stalis, curb ramps and crosswalk are in this location to provide the
required maximum slope from the handicap stalls to the building entry, This alignment
rcc;uires a rockery with handrail for the sidewalk along the east side of the road and a
smal wall with handrail for the portion of sidewalk from the handicap stalls to the
building entry. Details regazding the rockery are shown on sheet 4!grading plan) and
shcet :i (Section A-A). Details regarding the small wall are shown on sheet 4(grading
Pan)>
I ld t 4 1 i5ih Avenuc+ NE.
