24. Once occupied, this worksite may be subject to the City of Everett Commute Trip <br />Reduction (CTR) Ordinance which affects employers who have 100 or more full-time <br />employees reporting to a single worksite between 6:00 am - 9:00 am at least two days per <br />week. The future empl,)yer (Community Transit) of this facility should contact Graham <br />Anderson of the City's Transportation Services Department at (206) 259-9836 prior to <br />occupancy so that the employer's status with respect to the CTR Ordinance can be <br />determined. <br />25. The subject property is served by Everett Transit. To encourage transit use, <br />Transportation Services recommends that the developer provide the following transit <br />support facilities: a bus shelter, bench and concrete pad to City standards and <br />specifications. The developer should contact George Baxter, Transit Operations Manager, <br />at (206) 259-8803 prior to preparation of detailed design drawings to coordinate location <br />and installation requirements. <br />26. Acc - The Uniform Fire Code requires that all new structures shall provide Fire <br />Department access roads to within 150 feet of all portions of the ground floor. Fire <br />Department access roads (Fire Lanes) shall provide a minimum of 20 feet in width of <br />unobstructed, all -season driving surface with a minimum clear height of 13'6". Fire Lanes <br />will be posted and maintained as required by the Fire Department. <br />27. Access - O.K. as shown on the site plan reviewed. <br />28. When access to or within a structure or an area is unduly difficult because of secured <br />openings or where immediate access is necessary for life saving or fire -fighting purposes, <br />the Fire Department may recommend or require a key box to be installed in an accessible <br />location. A rapid entry system may also be desirable in order to avoid unnecessary <br />damage while making entry to any building during an emergency situation. <br />Please call 259-8726 for further information. <br />29. Fire lanes must be provided as required in Everett Municipal Code 46.44. Fire lanes must <br />be identified by red curbs with white stenciling stating "NO PARKING - FIRE LANE" <br />and vertical signs stating "NO PARKING - FIRE LANE - TOW AWAY ZONE." <br />Location must be approved by the Fire Marshal. <br />30. Premise Identification - The premises must be clearly identified by address at the street <br />entry. Each building must be clearly identified so as to be visible and legible from the <br />access road. Each suite must be clearly identified so as to be visible and legible from the <br />access road. <br />31. Hydrants - Three (3) available hydrants are required for the main building. They shall be <br />located within 200 driving feet but no closer than 50 feet of every structure. Location of <br />hydrants shall be approved by the Fire Marshal. <br />32. A fire hydrant is required within 200 driving feet, but not closer than 50 feet, of every <br />structure. Location of the hydrant(s) shall be approved by the Fire Marshal. <br />33. PREMISE IDENTIFICATION AND ALL REQUIRED FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />ACCESS ROADS AND FIRE HYDRANTS SHALL BE IN SERVICE PRIOR TO <br />COMMENCEMENT OF CONSTRUCTION. <br />
