Plans for such system shall be submitted to the Fire Marshal for review and approval <br />prior to installation. Submittal shall include cut sheets of all equipment intended for <br />use. Appropriate trip tests, witnessed by a Fire Department inspector, shali be <br />performed, along with a certificate of completion, pnor to final acceptance of the <br />system. <br />Fire alarm systems shall be installed according to NFPA Standard 72. <br />Fire alarm systems shall be installed under permit of the City of Everett Building <br />Department. Electrical inspections and approval are required prior to calfing for <br />acceptance tests. Call 259-8810 for permit mformation. <br />22. Fire lanes must be provided as required in Everett Municipal Code 46.44. Fire lanes <br />must be identified by red curbs with white stenciling stating "NO PARKING - FIRE <br />LANE" and vertical signs stating "NO PARKING - FIRE LANE - TOW AWAY <br />'LONE." Location must be approved by the Fire Marshal. <br />23. The premises must be clearly identified by address at the street entry. Each building <br />must be cleariy identified so as to be visible and legible from the access road. Fach <br />suite must be clearly identified so as to be visible and legible from the access road. <br />24. Security Fence - Any securiry fence erected around the construction site shall be <br />located so as to not obstruct any existing hydrant, fire protection equiprt►ent, or Fire <br />Department access. If Fire Department access is obstructed, gates or other openings <br />shall be provided for access. <br />25. When access to or within a st�ucture or an area is unduly difficult because of secured <br />openings or where immediate access is necessary for life saving or fire-fighting <br />purposes, the Fire Department may recommend or require a key box to be installed in <br />an accessible location. A rapid entry system may also be desirable in order to avoid <br />unnecessary damage while making entry to any building during an emergency situation. <br />Please ca11257-8123 for further information. <br />26. PREMISE IDENTIFICATION AND ALL REQUIRED FIRE HYDRANTS AND <br />FIRE DEPARTMENT ACCESS ROADS M[JST BE IN SERVICE PRIOR TO <br />COMMENCEMENT OF CONSTRUCTION. <br />27. The Washington State Clean Air Act requires the use of all known, available, and <br />reasonable means of controlling air pollution, including dust. Dust generated during <br />construction activities can be controlled by wetting those dust sources such as areas of <br />exposed soils, washing truck wheels before they leave the site, and installing and <br />maintaining gravel construction entrances. Construction vehicle track-out is also a <br />major dust source. Any evidence of track-out can trigger violations and fines from the <br />Depanment of Ecology or the Puget Sound Air Pollution Control Agency. <br />28. No additional driveway accesses are permitted to this site. <br />29. The Snohomish County PUD currently has sufficient capacity to servc the proposed <br />development.
