 Puecic woir.s
• Sent via e•i-
   4
_-
March 3, 2014
Mr. Diaz Santos
EI Sabor de Chihuahua
213 Capri PI
Everet, WA 98203
Project: Tenant Irriprovement for EI Sabor de Chihuahua
]ob Address: 7405 Hardeson Rd, Unit B
Plan Review No: B1402-031
Dear Mr. Santos,
In response to your recent application for a tenant improvement permit, the pians have been examined, and
you are advised that the permit review cannot be resumed until the following issues are resolved on the
drawings.
General
1. Please indicate new work with dark lines. Existing work should be indicated as light lines, and
demolition work should be indicated with dashed lines. This includes ceilings, wall sections, doors,
stairs, ramps, structure, and toilet rooms, and any other revision where a building permit is required,
per IBC section 105.1.
a. New walls should be targeted on the plans to detailed wall sections.
New swinging doors should be dimensioned and indicate the new hardware.
b. The drawings should be clear enough that the scope of the new work could be purchased zd
built by someone other than the submitter.
c. Any revisions since the last permit would be considered new work, reference the attached
permit drawing for Shayla Nails.
2. The code analysis shouid include the applicable building codes, refemnced at the bottom of this letter.
Occupancy
1. Occupancy caiculation assumptions based on use and square footage should be induded in the code
analysis, per IBC table 1004.1.1.
The occupant load of 1 person per 15 sf, bascd on an estimated square foot seating area of 450
square feet is 27 occupants. This would require a second new toilet room, per IBC section 2902.2. A
se:ing area not exceeding 225 square fect would qualify for a unisex toilet room.
Construction
1. The drawings should indicate that the new toilet room has a five foot dearance between the wall
parallel to the toilet fixture and the sink, per ICC A177-1-Z009 Figure 604.3. Enlarged plans and
elevations are required for review.
Separate sex public toilet rooms should be shown on the drawings based on the size of the scating
area, per IBC section 2901.2, Health Codes and IBC section 2902.2, Separate Facilities.
Y3
