Please indicate new work with dark lines. Existing work should be indicated as light lines, and <br />demolition work should be indicated with dashed lines. This includes ceilings, wall sections, doors, <br />stairs, ramps, structure, and toilet rooms, and any other revision where a building permit is required, <br />per IBC section 105.1. <br />a. New walls should be targeted on the plans to detailed wall sections. <br />New swinging doors should be dimensioned and indicate the new hardware. <br />b. The drawings should be clear enough that the scope of the new work could be purchased z��d <br />built by someone other than the submitter. <br />c. Any revisions since the last permit would be considered new work, reference the attached <br />permit drawing for Shayla Nails. <br />2. The code analysis shouid include the applicable building codes, refemnced at the bottom of this letter. <br />Occupancy <br />1. Occupancy caiculation assumptions based on use and square footage should be induded in the code <br />analysis, per IBC table 1004.1.1. <br />The occupant load of 1 person per 15 sf, bascd on an estimated square foot seating area of 450 <br />square feet is 27 occupants. This would require a second new toilet room, per IBC section 2902.2. A <br />se�:ing area not exceeding 225 square fect would qualify for a unisex toilet room. <br />Construction <br />1. The drawings should indicate that the new toilet room has a five foot dearance between the wall <br />parallel to the toilet fixture and the sink, per ICC A177-1-Z009 Figure 604.3. Enlarged plans and <br />elevations are required for review. <br />Separate sex public toilet rooms should be shown on the drawings based on the size of the scating <br />area, per IBC section 2901.2, Health Codes and IBC section 2902.2, Separate Facilities. <br />Y3 <br />
