CASCADE GEOTECHNICAL INC. <br />June 2, 1994 <br />Job No. 9405-02G <br />DCPT/MSS X4 encountered light brown, mottled sand (SP) with variable amounts of silt and <br />gravel underlying the silty sand. The sand was observed to be dense to very dense and moist. <br />DCPT/MSS N5 showed a gray, very stiff to hard sandy silt (hM) from three and one-half (3 112) <br />feet to the total boring depth. <br />DCPT/MSS #6, located at the southwestern end of proposed Building B, also showed <br />uncontrolled fill overlying dense soils. This uncontrolled fill consisted of brown, moist, silty <br />fine-grained sand with minor organics. Although auger refusal prevented advancement of the <br />auger deeper than four (4) feet, our DCPT appeared to encounter native hearing soil at a depth <br />of approximately nine (9) feet. <br />All of the trackhoe test pits encountered ground water at depths ranging between seven and one- <br />half (7 44) feet in Test Pit k3 and eleven (11) feet in Test Pit M2. In Test Pit #1, the ground <br />water appeared to be perched on the underlying dense glacial soils as they were observed to be <br />moist to wet.
