Box 578
Edmonds, Washington 98020
Attention: Nr. Neil Eshleman
Subject: SeaProp Corporation Warehouse
Everett, Washington
Dear Sir:
As you aware, it is not a customary inspection practice to report
mistakes made by the Contractor• if these mistakes are corrected
without any lastiry detriment to the proejct. In the present
instance, however, the visible omission of requirec resteel in
previous pours and current mistakes in resteel placement which I
have had to correct at a stage of construction when the ironwork
involved should have become routine, make me apprehensive that
similarly substandard construction, now covered up, could have been
characterized previous operations. This letter wiil address some
immediate concerns. Ne feet it requires adequate study by the building
owner's representative to clarify our concerns.
CONCRETE REINfORCEt•1ENT
On the two occasios that I have checked resteel on this praject
I have found major discrepancies in the tilt-up panel reinforcement
although a number of similar panels had previously been poured.
