Findings: See Criteria #3.
b. Conclusions: See Criteria #3
Criterion No. 5:
Tfie granting o the variance is consistent with the goals and policies of
the Everett General Plan.
a. Findin : The Everett General Plan designates this Property
as 1.3 Single Family Detached.
b. Conclusions: The proposed use of the subject property for
rest entia purposes is consistent with the Everett General
Plan.
Criterion No. 6:
71-e—n-e-e-d-To-r-Ulie requested variance is not the result of a self-created
hardship.
a. Find in The applicant states that the property is not able
to con oim to current requirements due to the I-5 right-of-
way creating reduced depth to the existing lots and is not the
result of a self created hardship.
b. Conclusions: There are unique circumstances related to the
su sect property that were created as a result of the I-5
corridor. Due to its triangular shape it is not possible to
create a reasonable building site while meeting the standard
setback requirements.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Board of Adjustment of the City of Everett
does hereby order that a variance be GRANTED to allow for a seven foot
setback from the rear property line with the following conditions:
• Obtain building permits, public works permits, and provide two on -
site parking spaces.
The action of the Board of Adjustment in GRANTING a variance shall
be final and conclusive, unless within twenty-one (21) days from the date
of issuance and signing of this order by the Chairman of the Board, an
aggrieved person or persons obtains a writ of certiorari from the
Superior Court of Washington for Snohomish County for the purpose of
review of the action taken.
