Please note that all sheets in the plan set which <br />have been changed sincc thc version you last reviewed now bcar the date "code" OS ] G06 in the <br />titic block, and that all changes have been clouded 1'or convenient location. <br />� I. Please see that we havc amended our code reterence to IRC 2003, arid our occupancy to R-3, <br />in light of our to���ihouse yualification (please see shcet 0.). <br />✓ Z. Smoke detectors are now callcd out on all floors, basements included- basement S.D.'s are <br />located in the heated stmct entryways o1'units B, C, & D, and ncar the foot of the garage stairs for <br />wiit A. Smokc detectors at upper levels have been relocated, where desirable, to improve <br />coverage in considcration of S.11.'s now at basement lcvel. <br />�3. Plense allow us to requcsl delerred submittal, as per IBC 2003, 106.3.4.2., to allow a qualificd <br />i IVAC contractor to design and submit plans for each unit's whole house ventilation. Our <br />Gencral Note Shect (shect 21) states, under "Additional Notes": "HVAC design by others," to <br />this end. I lowever, we do dictate a spccific cubic fect per minute ventilation rate for the whole <br />house syslem, to insure code compliance, under "Non-heal recovery ventilation" Note # 1(same <br />sheeQ: "whole house system to vent 15 CPM per bedroom...". For greater clarity, we have <br />calculated whole house CP�4 rate requirements for each unit, the results of which are on the <br />Main Ploor Plan for cach unit (pleasc sce sheets 3, 7,11, and 16) using our method, and the <br />results h�ve been checked against table 3-2 of the VIAQ for wmpliance. A final note under our <br />"Non-heat recovery ventilation" section rcCeis to each of these sets of calculations. <br />✓ 4. Specific paris of lianiing ���hich require insulation are called out on Detail A, sheet 19, and <br />Dctail ], sheet 20.
