/:/%cl <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 5177 <br /> A Resolution Approving the Rezone of a <br /> Portion of the Housing Hope Property Located <br /> at 5830 Evergreen Way From R-2 to B-2 and <br /> Authorizing the Mayor to Execute a Development <br /> Agreement Rezoning the Property from R-2 to B-2. <br /> WHEREAS, the Everett City Council finds: <br /> 1. The Everett Planning Commission held a workshop and public hearing on the proposed <br /> rezone of the Housing Hope property on November 27, 2001 and January 15, 2002 respectively; <br /> and <br /> The Everett Planning Commission did recommend approval of a rezone of the Housing Hope <br /> property from R-2 to B-2 subject to the condition that: <br /> (a)The subject property be used only for housing (up to 12 units) and an educational facility, <br /> (b)That access to the subject rezone area be gained only from Evergreen Way, <br /> (c)That the proposed property should receive preliminary approval of a short subdivision plat <br /> (that the lot be legally defined), <br /> (d) That the residential uses facing Fleming Street remain residential, and <br /> (e)That a 6 foot fence be placed along the full length of the west property of the rezone site, <br /> which in this case would be accomplished through conditions and restrictions imposed through <br /> the Resolution of Intent to Rezone process; and <br /> 2. The City Council held a public hearing to consider the Housing Hope proposal on <br /> February 27, 2002; and <br />
