An inspection of the garage on this property was <br />conducted on May 13, 1999 and it was r.oted that it has been converted into a dwelling. <br />Although such a conversion might be an allowed use under the terms of Section 19.12.010 of the <br />Everett Municipal Code, you must first comply with all zoning requirements for such a use <br />through the use permit process. <br />Our rccurds indicate that you have neither applied for a use permit, nor have you certified that <br />the st-ucture has been used as a dwelling since prior to 1956. To bring this property into <br />comptiance wit6 City of Everett zoning laws, you must complete the following corrective <br />action no Ixter than June 14,1999: <br />(1) Complete an application for a use permit, or <br />(2) Certify that the structure has been used as a dwelling since prior to 1956, or <br />(3) Return the structure to its intended use as a garage. <br />Should you fail to bring your property into compliance as required by law a violation citation <br />may be issued to you, which wilt set a hearing date before the City of E�•erett hearing examiner. <br />At the hcaring the City will be seeking an order requiring abatement of violations and/or <br />imposing costs and a fine. <br />Sincer ly,• �� <br />i'���� <br />, rian G.
