As a result of Transit's pre-construction meeting with Gillig in September 2005, several <br /> bus components are recommended for addition, deletion and modification from the original scope of work. <br /> These recommended changes (see attached)would result in an additional cost of$28,501.26 (local dollars) <br /> for the nine-bus order. Overall, the recommended changes improve operating efficiency, reduce long-term <br /> operating cost of the buses and improve customer and driver comfort. <br /> RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Approval of Bid Number 2005-747 Change Order Number One in the amount of$28,501.26. <br /> 8 <br />
