'arkuig Program Objectives FAQ Central I CHILD
Page 1 of -
::AQ Central
d
larking Program Objectives
)dated on December 17, 2003 12:38 PM by eHealth '
: What are Children's goals concerning parking?
: We have two goals. First, we want to guarantee every patient, family member and visitor immediate parking.
econd, we want our staff to consider and use alternate means of transportation to and from the hospital.
: Has visitor parking been a problem?
Yes. There have been occasions in the recent past when the hospital had 100 more vehicles on campus than
irking spaces. Families and visitors would routinely circle our lots for up to a half-hour looking for parking.
)ngestion was constant.
: Is there adequate parking now?
Yes. For the first time in recent memory, visitors are consistently finding available parking. That has occurred
.cause of the new system and off-site parking.
Will there still be days when visitor parking is scarce?
That is possible. We do lot counts every day. So far, the results are positive.
Do we hove options besides parking at the Church or Archives?
Yes. There are many options. Staff who do not want to park at the Church or Archives may carpool, vanpool, ride
e bus, bike or walk to work. If you choose to drive alone to work, we currently will provide parking, but it will be
campus.
Home I About Children's I Departments I Clinical Resources I Education & Development I Staff Resources I Policies & Procedures
ID 1995-2004 CHRMC I Disdaimer I Contribute to CHILD I Site Coordinator Login
[Weds
Kal)¢ lQM
1/child/staff resources/faq_centmUparking/parking_prografn_gbjectives.asp 1/4/2005
