V <br />Llt� <br />a 3 ., 005 <br />1-26-05 <br />CITJ.' r' L Y E fl E '1 , <br />PInn ing Dept. <br />To the City of Everett Planning Commission: <br />I am writing this letter to oppose Providence Everett Medical Centers plan to demolish an <br />entire block of Historic Donovan built homes. <br />This is not only a thoughtless destruction of a historical residential community but it also <br />destroys a large part of Everett's History. <br />The Donovan Homes were built by my Great -Grandfather Edward Donovan. As a child <br />my Grandmother, Florence Donovan, would drive me through the Donovan district and <br />tell me about the family history these homes represent. It really breaks my heart to <br />imagine the senseless loss of these homes. <br />Please block the application for expansion and demolition. Require the Medical Center <br />to build the parking lot in an area that is already zoned for commercial use. <br />Thank you, <br />Robert S.
