To satisfy this requirement, the City and the Snohomish County Center for <br /> Battered Women ("CBW") entered into an Agreement wherein CBW would hire the advocate and would be <br /> reimbursed by the City in monthly amounts of$3004.16 during the grant period, with a maximum contract amount of <br /> $72,100. Subsequent to the Agreement, the federal grant project period was extended to December 31, 2005. This <br /> Amendment would extend the completion date for services under the Agreement from August 31, 2005 to December <br /> 31, 2005 to correspond with the grant expiration date and allow for payment of$3004.16 per month to CBW for three <br /> additional months. These three additional payments are reimbursable from grant monies. <br /> RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): Authorize the Mayor to sign an Amendment to <br /> the Professional Services Agreement with the Snohomish County Center for Battered Women to extend the <br /> completion date for services under the Agreement from August 31, 2005 to December 31, 2005. <br /> 16 <br />
