4. The applicant has not demonstrated the proposed land use map <br /> amendment and rezone is in the beast long term interests of the Everett <br /> community. This is evidenced by testimony indicating that the proposed <br /> residential zoning is not compatible with the affected neighborhood; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF EVERETT THAT: <br /> 1 . The application of Don Avery to amend the land use map of the Everett <br /> Comprehensive Plan for a 1.1 acre parcel located at the northwest corner of <br /> Madison Street at Berkshire Drive, as depicted in Exhibit "A," as adopted by <br /> Ordinance No. 2021-94, from 1.3 (Single Family Detached, 10-12 dwellings per <br /> gross acre) to 1 .6 (Multiple Family, 20 — 29 dwellings per gross acre) is <br /> hereby denied. <br /> 2. The application of Done Avery to rezone a 1 .1 acre parcel located at the <br /> northwest corner of Madison at Berkshire Drive, as depicted in Exhibit "A," from <br /> R-2 (Single Family Medium Density) to R-3 (Multiple Family Medium Density) is <br /> hereby denied. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER INTRODUCING RESOLUTION <br /> Passed and Approved this 15th day of November , 2000. <br /> C COUNCIL P ESIDENT <br /> 9 <br />
