Further, the City's Planning Commission will review the City's Zoning Code proportionality <br /> standards for correctional facilities to allow for County development of specified additional pre- <br /> adjudication jail capacity on County-owned property located between Oakes/Lombard and <br /> Pacific/Wall. Provided, however, the City Council would like to know the County's intentions <br /> for addressing the County's long range off-campus solutions and options for post-conviction <br /> inmates prior to City approval of any changes in the City's proportionality standards. <br /> The City's Planning Commission will review the City's zoning regulations as they relate to the <br /> following: appropriate modifications to the PDO Zone and complementary implementing <br /> provisions so as to authorize the PDO's implementation through a development agreement; the <br /> proportionality standard for pre-adjudication jail facilities within the area defined above; and <br /> • other appropriate City regulations to provide for the approval of a Snohomish County master plan <br /> to be implemented by a development agreement. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT THE EVERETT CITY COUNCIL concurs with the <br /> County Executive's recommendations that the County work in cooperation with the City and <br /> private sector downtown Everett business interests to develop and complete a comprehensive <br /> parking solution that benefits all and that the County, City, Downtown Everett Association, <br /> Economic Development Council and others work together to develop and implement an <br /> aggressive redevelopment plan for private sector occupancy or redevelopment of the <br /> approximately 185,000 square feet of commercial leased office space which the County will <br /> vacate in the 2004-2005 time frame. <br /> /1111 <br /> Councilperson Intro ucing Resolution <br /> PASSED and APPROVED this 7th day of June,2000. <br /> Conn s' President oug Campbell <br /> 4 <br />
