7 Intergovernmental Agreement No. F05-31103-063 <br /> Everett Police Department <br /> ATTACHMENT A <br /> Statement of Work <br /> October 1, 2005 through September 30, 2006 <br /> The contractor shall provide and supervise adequate staff to accomplish the following activities <br /> during the contract period: <br /> Victim Services <br /> Personnel <br /> A. The Contractor shall provide funding for the Providence Everett Sexual Assault <br /> Center to employ an advocate specialist and and intervention specialist to provide <br /> community-based advocacy services for victims of sexual assault, age 18 and <br /> older. Services provided can include, but are not limited to, information and <br /> referral, crisis intervention, medical advocacy, legal advocacy, intakes and <br /> assessments prior to entry into therapy services, assistance accessing Crime <br /> Victims Compensation benefits, and the development of individual safety and <br /> treatment plans. Services provided by the advocates shall meet the requirements <br /> set forth by Washington State RCW 70.125, and by the standards defined by the <br /> • State of Washington Sexual Abuse/Assault Services Standards, Fiscal Year 2006. <br /> B. The Contractor shall provide funding for the Providence Everett Sexual Assault <br /> Center to employ an advocate supervisor to provide staff support and reporting for <br /> this contract. <br /> C. The Contractor shall provide funds to the Center For Battered Women to support <br /> a community-based legal advocate to provide services to female victims of <br /> domestic violence, sexual assault or stalking, age 18 and older from Mason <br /> County. Services provided can include, but are not limited to, advocacy and <br /> outreach to underserved communities and relationship building, information and <br /> referral, crisis intervention, medical advocacy, legal advocacy, informing victims <br /> of their rights, development of individual safety plans, assistance accessing Crime <br /> Victims Compensation benefits, community education and awareness, and <br /> referrals to other community resources. Services provided by the Advocate shall <br /> meet the requirements set forth by Washington State RCW 70.123 and RCW <br /> 70.125, and by the standards defined by the State of Washington Sexual <br /> Abuse/Assault Services Standards, Fiscal Year 2006. <br /> Prosecution <br /> Personnel <br /> A. The Contractor shall provide funding to the Snohomish County Prosecuting <br /> Attorney to support a Deputy Prosecutor responsible for maintaining a felony <br /> 2 7 domestic violence unit including promoting domestic violence awareness, <br /> u <br />
