This amending <br /> ordinance exempts activities at the Everett Events Center from the City of Everett's admission tax in order to <br /> avoid duplication. <br /> RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): Adopt ordinance amending the City <br /> admission tax Ordinance No. 162-71 and Ordinance No. 2977 (EMC 3.20)to exclude activities such as <br /> games,plays,performances, displays, or other similar activities at the Everett Events Center and the ten <br /> percent tax on excess charges over the ticket price on tickets sold elsewhere. <br /> 66 <br />
