The development agreement <br /> included 2 building elevations to represent the quality of building that City Council expected to be built on <br /> the subject property. The development agreement requires any substantial changes to the building elevations <br /> to be reviewed again by the Planning Commission and City Council. A letter from Mr. and Mrs. Zlab <br /> explaining the reasons for the proposed changes has been previously presented to City Council. The <br /> Planning Commission reviewed the request on February 7, 2006, and recommended that Council approve the <br /> proposed changes to the building elevations. <br /> The City Council has reviewed the Zlab proposal, has instructed the Zlab's to make further revisions to the <br /> building plans,reviewed the requested revisions in concept, and at the March 15,2006 Council meeting <br /> asked the Zlab's to provide dimensional standards for architectural elements, and more information about <br /> proposed building materials. That information is included in the attached packet. The proposed revision to <br /> the development agreement removes the requirement to follow Historical Overlay Zone design standards. <br /> RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Adopt resolution authorizing Mayor to execute an amendment to the Zlab Rezone Development Agreement <br /> with revised building plans. <br /> 7 <br />
