Additional Required -0- DETAILED SUMMARY STATEMENT: The City of Everett wishes to enter in to a Professional Services Agreement with Tank Industry Consultants, Inc. to provide knowledgeable and experienced subconsultants for engineering, inspection and project management services for the upgrades to the Casino facilities. The project will involve construction of two elevated composite tanks, structural, electrical, instrumentation, mechanical and pumping improvements to the pump station as well as demolition of the existing standpipe. This project will also include related improvements to the site and landscaping. The Scope of Work also includes testing, start-up and operation assistance to bring the improvements on line. This project is expected to be completed by July 31,2011. RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): Authorize the Mayor to sign the Professional Services Agreement with Tanks Industry Consultants Inc. for the engineering and inspection portion of the Casino standpipe replacement project for an amount not to exceed $2,209,523. 1 5
