• <br /> 6 EXHIBIT A • <br /> SCOPE OF WORK <br /> manual to the City. <br /> 1.17 Construction Phase Surveying Services <br /> Survey control will be established at the project site to guide detailed construction <br /> layouts by the contractor. Work under this task includes coordination with the <br /> contractor's surveyor,periodic checking of lines and grades and confirmation of <br /> coordinates of monumentation set by the contractor. <br /> 1.18 Functional Testing <br /> Observe and provide technical assistance during the contractor's functional testing and <br /> startup of equipment. This will include witnessing and evaluating pump performance <br /> tests (off-site and on-site), testing operation of all valves, meters and devices, and testing <br /> all modes of equipment operation, SCADA equipment, and station operation. <br /> Documentation of testing will be provided for all equipment to verify operation and <br /> compliance with plans and specifications. <br /> 1.19 Start-Up <br /> Assistance will be provided in the start-up and operator training for all new facilities. <br /> TIC's Team will provide overall engineering coordination with the contractor, the <br /> contractor's technical representatives for specialty equipment, City operations staff as <br /> required to ensure proper start-up and operation of all facilities in full compliance with <br /> the plans and specifications. This will include start-up of temporary equipment, as well <br /> as, start-up of equipment during the intermediate stages of the project as necessary to <br /> comply with the construction sequencing plans. <br /> 1.20 Final Inspection <br /> Prepare for and conduct a final inspection of the project with representatives of the City, <br /> and the contractor. Prepare a "punch list" of items of work remaining to achieve final <br /> completion of the project and to prepare for the City's acceptance of the project. <br /> Compliance with all permits and regulatory requirements will be a condition of <br /> acceptance of the project. Recommend procedures and timing of acceptance of the <br /> project. TIC will advise the City and the contractor of the dates for any warranty periods <br /> as established in the contract documents <br /> 1.21 Project Close-Out/Record Drawings <br /> Upon completion of all work and documentation recommend final payments to the <br /> contractor as appropriate. Prepare record drawings of the project based upon the <br /> construction records of the contractor and TIC's on-site representative. Record drawings <br /> for work related to the fabrication and erection of the tanks and electrical improvements <br /> will be prepared by TIC's Team. TIC will compile all record drawings into one project <br /> set and submit one set of mylar record drawings and AutoCAD disk to the City. <br /> Page 16of19 34 <br />
