The City of Everett IIuilding Official has found that since the issuance of the Notice and <br />Order some demolition work has been performed on the building, and now Ihe shell of <br />the building remains on Ihe property. <br />The following deficiencies render the building to be subst�lndard and/or dangerous pursuant to <br />Section 1001 of the Uniform Housing Code: <br />1. All vital systems, electrical, plumbing, and heating are missing. <br />2. The building has no foundation and continues to be supported on temporary cribbing <br />situatecl under the North and South end of the building during the relocation of the <br />building in 1988. <br />3. The building roof fra�ne has been completely removed leaving only the wall and floor <br />frame. <br />4. The building is a hazardous nuisance to the health, safety, and welfare of the general <br />public and surrounding properties. <br />I ��'� 5. The building is a hazardous nuisance to inquisitive minors in the are��. The building is <br />��� situated across the sveet from a juvenile detention center and half block from a low <br />' income family neighborhoat. <br />The building is rendered dangerous pursuant to the Abatzment of Dangerous Buildings Code, <br />Section 302, as follows: <br />1. The building has become so damaged and deterionted as to become an attnctive <br />nuisance to children. <br />2. The building exists in violation of specific requirements applicable to such buildings <br />provided by the building regulations of this jurisdictions, as specified in Ihe Buildmg <br />Code and Housing Code as adoptetl by ordinance of this jurisdiction relating to the <br />condition of buildings. <br />3. The building has been damaged to such an extent lhat the structunl sVength or slability <br />thereof is materially less than u was before its relocation and partial demolition and is <br />less than the minimum requiremcnis of lhe Building Code for new buildings of similar <br />structure. <br />4. The building is in such a condition as to constitute a public nuisance known to the <br />common law or in equity jurisprudence. <br />❑ <br />�.- <br />
