This is Phase Two of a Four Phase Project involvinq 250 total units. <br />Units are included in 25 distinct buildinqs throughout the site. All <br />114 units are to receive exterior work and 72 are to have interior <br />renovation work. <br />2. This is a HUD funded project and HUD prevailing wage scale shall <br />qovern. This is included in the specifications. <br />3. Weekly pay slips will be required by E.H.A. <br />4. If pay requests are turned into Housinq Authority by the 20th of the <br />month, payment should be received by lOth of following month. <br />5. Lead based paint and asbestos abatement is taking place under a <br />separate contract. <br />Lead based paint will still be on exterior of buildings. No sawing, <br />grinding or sanding is to occur. Normal precautions should be <br />observed. <br />6. Security in the area is a concern. Contractor should be aware of <br />this and keep all tools, materials, offices, trailers etc. secured <br />when not occupied or in use. <br />7. Parking is in short supply, especially before 8:0o AM and after 5:00 <br />PM. Contractor to make allowances. <br />8. Due to the need to turn water mains off periodically to facilitate <br />work, 25 existing main water shut off valves need to be located and <br />made functional. The Housing Authority has a site plan indicating <br />locations off all values. <br />9. Power will remain in E.H.A. name for billing purpose. Prior to <br />building being turned over to Contractor, meter will be read, and <br />Contractor billed for power usage. <br />lo. Gas meters are in place.
