Based upon forty-rivo- <br />thousand, five-hundred and thirty-six (42,53G) square fest of Type V-I, <br />sprinklered censtruction, the fire flow requirements are one-thousand eight- <br />hundrod seventy-five (1,875) gpm. <br />27. An easemeM �iall be granted to the Everett School District and/or Ha��vthome <br />Elementary Schaol. The easement shall be granted for the sewerline that is <br />connected to the school. 1'he easement shall be granted prior to short plat <br />approval. <br />28. Portable Fire Protection: A portable fire extingu;sher with minimum U.L. rating <br />of 2-A: B:C shall be provided within seventy-five (75) feet of travel on all floors <br />of each buiiding during construction and prior to occupancy. <br />29. Fire Alarm System: An approved automatic fire detection system shali be <br />provided as required by City Ordinance No. 1902-92, Chapter 16.76 of the <br />Everett Municipal Code. Fire alartn systems shall be installed according to <br />NFPA Standard 72. Fire alartn systems shall be installed under pemiit of the <br />City Building DepaRmertt. Fire Suppression (Sprinkler) Systems: M approved automatic auppression <br />system shell be provided as required by Ordinence No. 1902-92, Chapter 16.76 <br />of the Everett Municipel Code. Plans for any such systema shell be submitted to <br />the Building DepaM�ent and the Everett Fire Department for examination and <br />approval. Such plana shall include plans for the underground mains fhet will <br />supply the sprinkler s stem. Above sprinklar piping shall bs hydroatatically <br />tested as require���ih�der9round piping shall bs <br />hydrostatically tested end fluahe s es�abliahed in NFPA Standard 24 hx <br />private fire mains. All such teats shall be witneased by a Fire Departmert <br />Inspector. Call 257- 8123 to make an appointment for inspection. Contr��ctors <br />materials and test ceRificates shall be submitted to the Firo Department Firior to <br />issuance of any Cert�cates of Occupency. <br />31. Standpipes shall be installed axording to Section 904.5 of the Uni!ortn Building <br />Code. <br />32. Fire Safety: Fire safety practice during construction shall be in compliance with <br />ARicle 87 of the Unifortn Fire Code. <br />33. Trash collector dumpsters over 1.5 cubic yards of capacity shall be located a <br />minimum of five feet from the building (UFC 1103.2.2, 1994 Edition). <br />10 <br />
