These co:,unents address building issues only. Additional revisions <br />or additions may be required by other departments (such as Utilities, Planning or Fire). <br />All references refer to the 1997 Uniform Building Code, as amended by the State of <br />Washington and/or Washington State Energy Code 1997 Edition, unless stated <br />otherwise. <br />In order for the processiug of your application to continue, it will be necessary to <br />provide the Building Division with two complete new sets of drawings reflecting the <br />corrections requested. <br />NONSTRUCTURAL <br />General <br />1. Class I standpipes should be shown within the stair enclosures. Section 904.5 <br />2. It should be shown on the plans that a listed smoke detector be placed near the <br />elevator entrance that upon activation will prohibit the elevator from opening and <br />shall return it to the main floor. Section 3003.2 <br />3.
